The person behind the profile

The medals are only part of the story.

Shayna’s career has taken her from international swimming to public scrutiny, a return to competition and two Olympic relay gold medals in Paris.

Those experiences are part of what she shares today: the ambition, the difficult moments and the work of finding a way forward.

In 2026, she competed at her final Commonwealth Games alongside her younger brother Jamie, retired from swimming and graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

A new chapter. The same Shayna.

Today, Shayna shares her experience from the stage, works with brands she connects with and spends time with athletes through workshops and swimming clinics.

Away from work, her love of animals, horses and the outdoors is part of who she is — and often part of the partnerships and causes she chooses.
